Terms of Service

Effective: May 1, 2026

These Terms govern your use of carolinaconnectionsacademy.com and your enrollment in any course offered by Carolina Connections Realty, Inc., d/b/a Carolina Connections School of Real Estate (“the School”, “we”, “our”). By enrolling, you agree to these Terms.

If you don't agree, please do not enroll.

1. Who we are

Carolina Connections Realty, Inc., a North Carolina corporation, operating the Carolina Connections School of Real Estate, a North Carolina Real Estate Commission certified Education Provider (Provider #1853). Education Director: Angel Bowman, GSI.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to enroll. Some courses, including Post-Licensing courses, require an active North Carolina real estate license; you are responsible for ensuring you meet course-specific prerequisites before paying.

3. The courses we offer

The School offers continuing education courses (GENUP, BICUP, Electives) and Post-Licensing courses (Post 301, Post 302, Post 303), all delivered live online via Zoom by an NCREC-approved instructor. Course descriptions, hours, schedules, and prerequisites are listed on each course page. Course content for Post-Licensing courses is owned by Learn Test Pass LLC and licensed to the School for instruction.

4. Enrollment and payment

  • You enroll through this website by selecting a session, completing the Policies & Procedures Disclosure acknowledgement (see Section 5), and paying through Stripe.
  • We accept credit and debit cards only. We do not accept checks or cash.
  • An Online Processing Fee of 2.9% + $0.30 is added to every transaction at checkout to cover the cost of operating our online enrollment system. The fee is paid in full to our payment processor (Stripe); the School receives only the listed tuition.
  • All amounts are in U.S. dollars.
  • Payment must be received by 6:00 PM Eastern Time the day before the class. Enrollment is not confirmed until payment clears.

5. Required acknowledgement before payment

Per NCREC Rule 58H .0204, before you can pay tuition for any course, you must:

  1. Read the School's Policies & Procedures Disclosure
  2. Provide your full legal name and North Carolina real estate license number
  3. Upload a copy of your NCREC Pocket Card or a government-issued driver's license
  4. Affirmatively check the electronic signature checkbox confirming receipt and acceptance of the Policies & Procedures Disclosure

Your checked signature, together with the timestamp, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string, constitutes your electronic signature under the U.S. E-SIGN Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.) and the North Carolina Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, NCGS § 66-311 et seq.

6. Course materials and conduct

  • Course materials, including PDFs and any in-class supplements, are provided to you for personal use only. You may not redistribute, resell, post, or share them.
  • You may not record any portion of a class session without our written consent. Course recordings, where provided by us, are for review only and may not be redistributed.
  • You agree to follow the conduct standards in our Policies & Procedures Disclosure, including the rules on attendance, breaks, exam integrity, and behavior during class.

7. Attendance and completion

  • Continuing Education and Post-Licensing courses each have minimum attendance requirements (typically 90% of scheduled hours, with no more than 3 instructional hours missed for Post-Licensing).
  • You must pass the end-of-course exam where applicable to receive a completion certificate. Passing score is 75% for Post-Licensing exams.
  • We report completions to NCREC within the timeframe required by NCREC rules. We do not control NCREC's processing time.

8. Refunds, cancellations, and class credits

See our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms by reference. In most cases the School issues a class credit toward a future enrollment rather than a cash refund. Credits are tied to the email address used to enroll, expire 180 days from issuance, and apply automatically at the next enrollment.

The Online Processing Fee added at checkout is not refundable; Stripe retains it on every transaction regardless of outcome. Class credits do not cover this fee.

9. Changes to courses

We may reschedule or cancel a course as needed. If we cancel or reschedule by more than 15 days from the originally advertised start date, you may transfer to another session or request a full refund (less the non-refundable Online Processing Fee) within 5 days of receiving the change notice. Otherwise, transfers and refunds follow the Refund Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The School makes no guarantee that you will pass an end-of-course exam, the North Carolina real estate licensing exam, or any other licensing requirement. Continuing education and Post-Licensing courses are designed to satisfy NCREC educational requirements only. The School is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice; nothing in our courses creates an attorney-client relationship.

The website is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every conceivable attack.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by North Carolina law, the School's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your enrollment is limited to the amount you actually paid for the course out of which the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost income or lost license eligibility.

This limitation does not apply to liabilities that cannot be limited under North Carolina or federal law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith discussion will be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this page with a new effective date and, where appropriate, communicated by email to enrolled students. Your continued use of the website or enrollment in any course after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
