Angel has been a North Carolina broker since 1995. Thirty years working the deals, with the last five-plus teaching at one of the state's top-rated real estate schools and earlier as the NC Real Estate Education Director for CPCC Continuing Education. Now she's the founder and lead instructor at Carolina Connections Academy of Real Estate, her own school. The pitch is simple: every concept she teaches gets anchored to a deal she's actually closed or a question she's actually fielded, so you walk out knowing how the rule reads AND how it shows up on Monday morning.

Carolina Connections Academy of Real Estate is the school she built so other agents could get the same kind of training: practical, paced for adults with full lives, and taught by someone who knows what the next five years of a career in NC real estate will actually feel like. Pre-Licensing, Post-Licensing, and CE all run from her home base in Mt. Airy, the foothills town she was born and raised in. Every question is a serious one, whether it's your first day in class or your tenth year on a license.

The credentials are real: licensed broker in both NC and SC since 1995, BIC eligible, REEA Gold Member, GSI graduate, and a B.S. in Communications, Marketing & Business Management from Appalachian State. So is the business she runs alongside teaching. Carolina Connections Realty, the brokerage she founded, earned eXp ICON status in its first year and the eXp Humanitarian of the Year award in 2019 for community service. But what students remember isn't the resume. It's that she sat with their question, broke it into pieces they could hold onto, and made them feel ready.

When she's not in a classroom or closing a deal, she's with her two kids, five grandchildren, and her pekingese pair Chet and Char. There's usually a cold Chardonnay and a DIY home project waiting at the end of the week.
